Fantasy Jasmine is a small, sturdy version of classic fall-blooming Japanese anemone. Its short stature suits it to the front of the border or a container planting, where it can show off its medium pink flowers for months.
Common name: Fantasy Jasmine anemone
Botanical name: Anemone x hybrida 'Ifanfj'
Exposure: Part shade
Flowers: From midsummer through autumn, large rosy-pink flowers bloom atop branching stems that rise above the plant's foliage. Bright gold stamens accent the center of each five-petaled flower.

Foliage: Maple-like in shape and deep green, the leaves are concentrated at the base of the plant, forming a mound below the flower stems.
Habit: This is an herbaceous perennial that grows 15 to 18 inches tall and 10 to 15 inches wide. While fall-blooming anemones have a reputation for spreading in the garden, Fantasy Jasmine is not a vigorous spreader.
Origin: Introduced in 2023 by Plants Nouveau.
How to grow it: Typical of a fall-blooming anemone, Fantasy Jasmine prefers part shade and moderate moisture. It can take full sun but may require more water there. In the southern United States, full sun may be too strong. This perennial is suitable for growing in the garden or in a container. USDA Zones 6–9.
