Enter to Win the New Easy Bee-zy Knock Out Rose!

Perfect for pollinator gardens.

We featured Easy Bee-zy as a great new pollinator plant in Horticulture’s May/June 2024 issue, and now you have a chance to win this gorgeous rose for your garden! One winner will receive two Easy Bee-zy plants from Star Roses and Plants, the company behind Knock Out roses and more. This sweepstakes is now closed, but read on for information about Easy Bee-zy.

Easy Bee-zy is a yellow rose with a single set of petals, making it easy for pollinators to feed from it.

A 2024 addition to the Knock Out series of roses, Easy Bee-zy blooms continuously throughout the growing season, with lemony-scented yellow roses. Because Easy Bee-zy roses bear a single ring of petals, pollinators can easily access the golden stamens—hence the name!

More about Easy Bee-zy:

Habit and size: Rounded, to three to four feet tall and three feet wide.

Exposure: Full sun

Easy Bee-zy has a shrubby habit.

Growing notes: Easy Bee-zy requires only the low-input care routine of any Knock Out rose. Provide full sun and moderate watering. Cut the canes back to about 12 inches tall in early spring, once new shoots are growing. Fertilizer is optional, but if used it should be applied only after the rose’s first year in the garden. Then an all-purpose or rose-specific formula can be used once the first flush of flowers begin to fade. Hardy for USDA Zones 4 through 11.
