Common name: 'Pendula' Weeping White Spruce
Botanical name: Picea glauca 'Pendula'
Foliage: Pendulous limbs with .75-inch blue-green needles tightly bunched on slim branchlets.
Habit: Upright, weeping. Grows 20 to 30 feet tall and about 6 feet wide.
Origin: Versailles, France prior to 1867.
Cultivation: Deer resistant. Moist, well-drained, acidic soil, and gravelly soil. Full sun to partial shade. USDA Zones 2–9.
