There is much to love about ‘Diamond Ball’ clematis. It is a compact vine ideally suited for container gardening and smaller garden spaces. The double-petaled white blooms have a tinge of blue or lavender that lends a hint of delicate color to the garden.

‘Diamond Ball’ clematis thrives in full to part sun. This is a low-maintenance vine that blooms on old and new wood, taking the anxiety out of pruning. Remove dead wood in the spring. Heavy pruning is not recommended. Use this beautiful climbing vine as a focal point in the garden, or grow it in a large container with its own trellis or next to a structure or shrub on which it can climb. ‘Diamond Ball’ also attracts butterflies.
