You don’t have to rip out a portion of your existing ornamental garden to add a vegetable garden. Here’s one way to mix the two.
You don't have to rip out a portion of your existing ornamental garden to add a vegetable garden. You can mix edible plants among your flower beds. Many edible plants work well as edging for a bed or walkway. Carrots are one example. Their ferny foliage makes an appealing border.
