Your Ideas: Beating the Weeds
May 26, 2009 Summary
I got this tip from an old German couple many years ago. If you religiously pull every weed, even those smaller than your little fingernail, as soon as it starts to grow, you will not have weeds from July on. I know it sounds like a lot of work initially, but it so much cooler early in the season, and it really does work! I think the secret is that you are pulling the weed seeds from last season and the summer/fall seeds haven’t fallen yet.
